At the heart of this casserole are tender, velvety sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed to creamy perfection. Dr. Pete's Praline Mustard Glaze, with its rich praline sweetness and a hint of zesty mustard, elevates this classic side dish to new heights. Adapted from Dr. Pete's own recipe. Serves 6 to 8.

Ingredients

6 cooked sweet potatoes, peeled and mashed
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 stick margarine, melted
1/3 cup Dr. Pete’s Praline Mustard Glaze
1/3 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl with an electric beater.
Pour into a greased casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
During the last 5 to 7 minutes of cooking, drizzle additional mustard glaze and chopped pecans over top of the casserole and finish cooking.
