Les Moutardes de Fallot
Marc Desarmenians is the owner and moutardier at the Fallot Moutarderie in Beaune. He is leading the effort to get the farmers in and around Burgundy to grow their own msutard seed (most seed made into the condiment mustard comes from Canada). This handsome gift box includes a bag of genuine French grown brown mustard seed and five jars of Fallot's superb mustard: Seed Style (13. 4 oz); Moutarde de Bourgogne (7 oz); Tarragon Dijon (7 oz); Basil Dijon (7 oz); and Blackcurrant Dijon with Cassis (7 oz).
The name Moutarde de Bourgogne means that it is made with the rare Burgundy-grown mustard seed. Only about 15% of the mustard seed used in the production of mustard in Dijon is from seed grown in France.
